Decent course, some hiccups

I recently completed the Diploma in Digital Marketing. The content was really relevant and the instructors were knowledgeable, which I appreciated. My main issue was with the online portal sometimes being a bit slow to load, especially during peak hours. Also, getting a response from student services took a little longer than I'd hoped for a couple of my queries. Overall, I learned a lot and got what I needed, but those small things could definitely be improved for a smoother experience.

Worth the investment for ACCA

As a first-time buyer for a professional certification, I was really looking for value. I went for the ACCA program. The tuition fee was competitive, and I was able to use SkillsFuture credits, which helped a lot with the overall cost. I looked at a few other providers, but Kaplan's reputation and the support they offered made it feel like the best financial decision. The materials were comprehensive, and I felt I got good bang for my buck.

Good experience with degree

I enrolled in the Bachelor of Business program and it was a pretty smooth process. Everything was explained well during the consultation, and I got my schedule set up easily. Classes were good, the lecturers were helpful. Felt like a solid choice for continuing my studies, no real complaints.

Hey, what's the deal with payment plans for courses? I'm looking at a diploma and prefer to pay monthly instead of upfront.

T Tara 3 months ago
They totally have installment plans! I used one for my CIMA cert, made it way easier on the wallet.

Yep, you can do installments. Just ask during enrollment, they'll sort you out. It's pretty common there.

Is Kaplan good compared to SIM GE or PSB Academy? Kinda torn between them for a business degree.

G Gwen 2 months ago
Honestly, Kaplan is pretty reputable here. Similar to SIM or PSB in terms of recognition for employers, just check which uni partner you prefer.

I think it's mostly down to the specific program and partner uni you want. All three are big private schools, so reputation is generally fine for all of them.

Are Kaplan degrees recognized by employers in Singapore? Don't wanna spend all that money for a paper that no one cares about.

R Raj Foster 2 months ago
Yeah, they are. Many of my colleagues did their part-time degrees there and got promoted no problem.

Totally, a lot of people in Singapore get their degrees from Kaplan. It's a recognized private institution, so employers are familiar with it.

Heard about early bird discounts. How much can you actually save? Like is it worth rushing to apply?

A Andre Carter 2 months ago
It's usually a few hundred bucks, nothing crazy like half price but definitely takes some sting out. I got like $200 off for my diploma.

Yeah, typically between $100 to $500. Not a life-changing amount but every bit helps right? Good for application fees or books.

Thinking of doing the Bach of Business. Does anyone know if the degrees are actually from the partner uni or is it a 'Kaplan degree'?

D Derek Z. 2 months ago
Yeah, they're from the partner unis like Murdoch or Northumbria. Kaplan is just the school here, the cert you get is from the actual university.

Can confirm, my friend did a degree there and her scroll is from the UK uni, not Kaplan itself. It's a proper uni degree.
